IWIA does not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We may share data only in the following limited circumstances:

5. Membership Data

As an IWIA member, your business name, city, category, and professional profile may be listed in IWIA’s member directory and shared with fellow members for networking purposes. This is a core membership benefit implied upon joining.

To restrict your directory visibility or update your profile, contact mail@iwia.in. Upon membership cancellation or lapse, your listing will be removed within 30 days. Historical engagement data may be retained for internal records.

6. Cookies & Tracking

Our website uses cookies to enhance your experience. These include essential cookies required for the website to function, analytics cookies that help us understand visitor behaviour (data is aggregated and anonymised), and functional cookies that remember your preferences. We retain personal information only as long as necessary. Active member records are kept throughout membership and up to 3 years after lapse. Contact form enquiries and emails are retained for up to 2 years. Website analytics data is held in aggregated form for up to 24 months. Financial transaction records are retained for 7 years as required under Indian tax law.

9. Your Rights

Under applicable Indian data protection principles, you have the right to access personal information we hold about you; request correction of inaccurate data; withdraw consent for marketing communications at any time; request deletion of your data subject to legal retention requirements; and lodge a grievance with our team.
